Our pal Bill Caswell is over in Germany with our other pal Robb Holland right now getting ready for a race at the Nurburgring. On a recce lap, they were chasing a Porsche 911 GT3. This is how not to drive the ‘Ring.

The 911 GT3 is a fast car and is moving around the track, but it’s pretty obvious that the driver doesn’t know the nuances of the circuit as his line is all wrong. About 100 yards before his first off, Robb knows that something is about to go wrong.

That’s what it’s like at the ‘Ring though. You make a mistake in one corner, and it might not bite immediately. It might take two corners. Overdriving and driving above your talent level on the Green Hell is a bad idea, as this proves.

The driver is obviously ok, but now his poor GT3 is a little dinged up. Poor little guy…
